About Meštrović Pavilion
Meštrović Pavilion, officially Home of Croatian Association of Fine Artists (HDLU), is the seat of HDLU Association. The Pavilion was built in 1938 upon initiative of the great Croatian sculptor and the then-President of HDLU Ivan Meštrović as the House of Fine Arts. Since then, the building has seen several architectural modifications and conversions due to social and political changes (it served as a mosque from 1944 until 1945, and as the Museum of the Revolution from 1945 until 1990), and was reinstated under the management of HDLU; the galleries of the Home of HDLU host around 30 exhibitions annually.
